Everyone loves a good Cinderella story, but the ones who fall from grace are a little harder to watch.
Some players have high expectations placed upon them entering a new season. Whether it comes from fans, players, reporters or themselves, players have to deal with the pressure to meet or exceed expectations year after year.
Some players work through it, performing to their full potential. But many others fail to achieve the success expected.
Luckily for them, the baseball season is not even halfway over, leaving plenty of time to return to the form they are used to.
