Will Arsenal Find the Back of the Net?
Through two EPL matches this year the Gunners have yet to score a single goal. Of course, it's understandable that Arsenal would struggle in the final third after losing the league's top scorer from a season ago in Robin van Persie.
Still, having zero goals combined in matches against Sunderland and Stoke City is outright troubling. Arsene Wenger brought in three dynamic scoring talents this summer, but they have yet to step up.
The trio of Lukas Podolski, Olivier Giroud and Santi Cazorla were brought in to score goals and help Arsenal contend against the EPL's top clubs.
Cazorla has been the most active player of the three thus far, tallying 10 shots through his first two appearances with the Gunners.
Arsenal will need one of those new additions to step up on the road in Liverpool on Sunday in order to earn its first win of the season.
Will Liverpool Keep the Momentum Going?
The Reds started the season by suffering a thumping at West Bromwich, where they were beaten 3-0. Last weekend Liverpool bounced back nicely with a 2-2 draw against Manchester City at Anfield.
Surely Liverpool has been infused with confidence after drawing the defending champions and even having a shot to earn three points against them before letting in a late goal.
If Brendan Rodgers' club can earn three vital points in Anfield today against an Arsenal squad that has looked stuck offensively, it will have ideal momentum heading into the its matchups with Sunderland and Manchester United later this month.
Although Liverpool will have to get it done without Clint Dempsey after missing on the star forward on the transfer window's last day, the Reds boast dependable striking talents in Luis Suarez and Fabio Borini.
Look for both players to make an impact for Liverpool at home on Sunday against Arsenal.
