Andy Carroll Injury: New Liverpool Striker Could Be Out for the Season

A MirrorFootball.co.uk report says Andy Carroll, Liverpool's recent £35 million signing, may well not play for his new team this season.

Carroll joined Liverpool on a transfer from Newcastle United on Jan. 31.

Although no official statement has come from Liverpool directly, it is something that will surely worry Liverpool fans and manager Kenny Dalglish alike.

Carroll was carrying a thigh injury when he signed, and it is now understood that that injury may need more treatment and considerably more time to heal.
