Super Bowl 2012: Gatorade Bath Color and More Crazy Props Worth Picking

Prop picks are one of the fastest-growing traditions of Super Bowl Sunday. Oddsmakers put out lines on just about anything and everything related to the game, adding a new dynamic to watching the Super Bowl, as if it wasn't exciting enough already.

Here are three crazy picks worth taking a look at before next weekend. All props and lines courtesy of Bovada.

Gatorade Bath Color

It wouldn't be a Super Bowl victory unless the head coach gets covered in Gatorade. Even somebody like Bill Belichick, who rarely shows emotion, can't help but to crack a smile after getting the sports drink poured over his head.

There are six different options on the board, but to me it seems completely random. When the defensive linemen are running over to the coolers, they don't have time to think about what color to use. So the best option is taking the longest shot on the board, which is blue.

It just so happens both teams have blue in their uniforms as well.

Pick: Blue at 10-to-1

Kelly Clarkson Forgetting National Anthem Word

Singing the national anthem is a difficult task, as proven by the numerous flubs over the years. No matter how much you practice, when there are literally millions of eyes watching you, it has to be virtually impossible to think straight.

That's why "yes," which is the only option on the board, is a smart pick. There are over 300 words in the complete song and all Clarkson needs to do is miss one of them to more than double your investment. That's a risk worth taking, not to mention it will help add some excitement to the rendition.

Pick: "Yes" at +250

David Tyree's Catch

Tyree's memorable catch to help set up the New York Giants' game-winning touchdown the last time these two teams met in the Super Bowl is a lock to be shown at least once. It's a huge part of the rivalry that has developed between the two teams.

That's why it's no surprise to see the line set at one. The reason I think it goes over is because the game is expected to be close. So I'm guessing the play will be shown again late in the fourth quarter to illustrate that literally anything can happen.

Pick: Over one at -120
