Raider Rumor Mill: No Word on LB Lawson, CB Porter & RB Bush Head Elsewhere

The Raiders can officially cross off two potential signings they wanted to see happen during the 2012 free agency period. It was announced that CB Tracey Porter decided to re-sign with the Raider's mile high rivals, the Denver Broncos. While this isn't a death blow to the Raiders' hunt for defensive backs, it may disappoint some whom though Coach Allen could work his magic and get Porter to sign.

The second piece of news was that the bruising, ground pounding Michael Bush decided to sign with the Chicago Bears, much to the public dismay of Matt Forte. It's unfortunate that the Raiders couldn't re-sign him due to salary cap constraints; however, I am interested to see who they will replace him with as the number two power back behind McFadden.

The final piece was that the word has been quiet on where ex-49er linebacker Manny Lawson could land. The Raiders, one of five potential suitors, have entered the quietest Circus to take place in this year's free agency, with the five teams vying for the service of the talented Lawson — who has stayed quiet on indications of where he could sign. I hope to see the Raiders land him; however, there are some other powerhouse teams in the mix.
