Randy Orton Update: The Viper Lets Fans Know About His Current Condition

In the past 24 hours B/R and the IWC have been inundated with Chris Jericho news and speculation.

Obviously, Jericho's return should garner a lot of press. However, there still is the issue of one of the WWE's top draw's being sidelined with a back injury. Last week, several sources including WWE.com, reported that Randy Orton was injured at during a taping of Friday Night SmackDown!.

This injury was pretty significant considering Orton is the current face of the blue brand. About a week has passed since the injury and now, Orton has taken to his Twitter to address his injury.

According to SEScoops.com, Orton tweeted the following:

I’m getting alot of q’s bout my back. What happened is I herniated a disc (leaked disc fluid) between my L4-L5 in my lower back.

“Had som estrength loss in my left lower leg. Time off is to let the inflammation go down, and try and strengthen the muscles int lower back”

“The Barrett barrage should have picked a steeper flight of stairs.

It appears Orton is blaming Barrett for his current situation and accusing him of being considerate of his surroundings. If this is the case, Barrett should be careful as Orton has been alleged to be the reason for Mr. Kennedy/Anderson's WWE demise. Another way to look at this is Orton is still in storyline mode and this could be a way of letting fans know he still intends to feud with Barrett upon his return.

Either way, I would not want to be in Barrett's shoes.
