South Carolina Spring Football 2012: 5 Gamecocks with All-American Potential

South Carolina has begun spring football practice and is looking to continue the momentum from the 11-win season in 2011.

Coach Steve Spurrier always has a smirk on his face, but this year is slightly different given the fact that he has a talented team with SEC depth and a favorable schedule. Expect the Gamecocks to continue to make noise in the SEC East.

This squad in 2012 has the chance to rewrite the USC record books and take the program to a new level. With BCS whispers, the sky is the limit, but it must take it one game at a time and not let the talk affect their play.

The Gamecocks, as noted earlier, are blessed with players that are highly capable, but there is a handful of players that have huge up-size that can take the Gamecocks to the next level.

Here's a list of five players on South Carolina's roster who could be considered the nation's best at their respective positions.
