Real Madrid has been home to so many glittering stars over the years, it’s extremely hard to narrow it down to just five. But that’s what I was asked to do, so here goes.
We start with a man who holds the appearance record for Madrid and remains the leading goalscorer in the Champions League. His name is Raul and Madrid fans worship the ground he walks on.
In the No. 4 spot is Ferenc Puskas, the Hungarian who scored close to a goal a game during his time at Madrid in the late 1950s and early 1960s.
Following Puskas is a man who famously played alongside him in a Madrid dynasty: Alfredo Di Stefano.
We move forward to the modern day for the runner-up, who cost Madrid a staggering £80 million, but is proving to be worth every penny. Step forward, Cristiano Ronaldo.
As for the No. 1 spot, I’m sure you can guess who resides there. You’ll have to watch the video to find out if you’re right.
