2012 Wells Fargo Championship Leaderboard: Players Who'll Beat Rory McIlroy

Rory McIlroy is going to finish fourth at the 2012 Wells Fargo Championship. He is playing great and he rocketed up the leaderboard with a six-under 66 on Saturday.

That was good enough to leave him in fourth place at the end of the third round, and in great contention to win. Unfortunately for him, these next three guys are going to outplay him.

You can view the full updated leaderboard on the PGA Tour's website

Webb Simpson

Simpson got off to a great start. He shot a seven-under 65 in the opening round and has been solid and steady since.

He shot a 68 in the second and 69 on Saturday. This has left him with a one-shot lead, and he will hold onto that lead.

Simpson has settled into a nice groove. He is coming off of a strong 13th place finish at the Zurich Classic. He has picked up his driving accuracy and his solid putting is in a groove. This will help him to hold onto his lead.

Ryan Moore

Ryan Moore is playing like the player we all thought he'd be when he first turned pro. He's finished in the top 10 in two of his last three tournaments, and has put himself in great position to win here.

He fired a 65 in the first round and while he fell back a bit with a 70 in the second, he came on strong with a 68 on Saturday.

Moore's driving accuracy has been off the charts and his putter caught fire on Saturday. This is going to leave him in the fairway and sinking putts on Sunday, and that will leave him near the top of the leaderboard and battling for a win.

Rickie Fowler

Fowler has been disappointing so far this season, but he is starting to turn it around. He was 10th in his last tournament, the Zurich Classic, and he has been playing great here.

He ended the third round just three shots off the lead. He did that by firing a 67.

He has been crushing the ball and placing it in the fairway. He struggled with the putter a bit on Friday, but bounced back nicely on Saturday.

Fowler is one-stroke behind McIlroy, but he is ready to go low and make a big statement.
