2011 NFL Predictions: Who Will Have the NFL's Worst Record?

There is certain to be a few great teams this year, and there is definitely certain to be a handful of terrible teams this NFL season.

The one common denominator on these bad teams is the quarterback situation. It is far and away the most important position on a football roster. By not having a suitable QB, these teams really don?t have much of a shot at competing. They also all don?t have very good defenses, which can occasionally bail an inexperienced signal caller out of trouble. See the 2009 Jets or the 2006 Bears for examples of this.

These are three teams that don?t have a shot at making the playoffs and will be competing for the first overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft

No. 3 ? Washington Redskins

The Redskins have some great receivers. Unfortunately for them, they don?t have anyone capable of throwing them the ball with any consistency. John Beck, Rex Grossman and Kellen Clemens are the teams three QBs, and in all likelihood we are going to see all three get snaps this season because of poor play and losing records.

Mike Shanahan made a mistake in driving Donovan McNabb out of town and he will soon come to regret it.

No. 2 ? Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks brought in Tarvaris Jackson because of his familiarity with new offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell?s system.

This does not mean he was any good within it during their time together on the Minnesota Vikings.

In their two preseason games together, Jackson has played awfully, especially against his former team. He went 11 for 21 with a pick against the Vikings in Week 2 and does not look like the answer for them at the position. The team needs to just tank it and land Andrew Luck.

No. 3 ? Cincinnati Bengals

This may be the most dysfunctional franchise in the NFL. Former QB Carson Palmer decided to retire rather than take another snap under center with the team, which says quite a lot about the atmosphere in Cincy right now.

Andy Dalton is a promising second-round draft choice, but his struggles in the preseason are glaring. He has to lead an atrocious team that lacks any sort of pass protection along with an inexperienced receiving corps. Look for them to definitely compete for the worst record in the league this season.
