Anderson 'The Spider' Silva was spectacular at UFC 134 to say the least, considering the immense pressure of performing in front of his home fans. In the first round, as Kenny Florian (replacing Joe Rogan for the event) put perfectly, Anderson used his fluid movements and faints to work out the timing, and in turn the flaws, of his opponent.
Okami attempted to use dirty boxing, by putting the UFC middleweight champion against the cage, but was unable to keep him there or take the fight to the ground. In the second round Silva changed gears, and was in a different time zone pushing the pace.
He nonchalantly put his hands down, and when Yushin attempted to lunge in, Anderson caught him with an accurate straight jab flooring the challenger, similar to his KO of Forrest Griffin at UFC 101. Momentarily the Japanese fighter recovered before inevitably being finished soon after via ground-and-pound.

Now that Silva has literally cleared out the whole middleweight division, it remains to be seen what, match maker extraordinaire, Joe Silva decides to do next. The only fight that seems to make any sense is a rematch with Chael "I just ate humble pie again" Sonnen, if he beats Brian Stann.
The other option is a super fight showdown with UFC welterweight champion, Georges St. Pierre, if he beats Nick Diaz.
Even by his high standards, Anderson Silva (now 14-0 in the UFC) was incredible tonight, continuing to cement his legacy as undoubtedly the greatest MMA fighter to grace the octagon.
