Tonight's mega matchup between Floyd Mayweather Jr. (41-0, 25 KO) and Victor Ortiz (29-2-2, 22 KO) has the boxing world talking, and it is sure to provide fireworks.
Ortiz, who is 10 years younger than Mayweather, is the youngest challenger in years for the boxing superstar and former pound-for-pound leader. Mayweather hasn't fought since May, 2010, when he defeated Shane Mosley.
Ortiz recently defeated Andre Berto to win the WBC welterweight championship, which he will defend tonight against his heavily favored opponent.
This HBO Greatest Hits video features Victor Ortiz at his best and worst moments against Luis Resto, Marcos Maidana, Antonio Diaz and Andre Berto.
The HBO PPV will begin at 9 p.m. ET starting with a solid undercard featuring a young champion and a boxing legend.
The co-main event will match up undefeated Mexican and WBC light middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (37-0-1, 27 KO) and Alfonso Gomez (23-4-2, 12 KO), which will be broadcast from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Cali.
Other bouts include Erik Morales (51-7, 35 KO) vs. Pablo Cesar Cano (22-0-1, 17 KO) and Jessie Vargas (16-0, 9 KO) vs. Josesito Lopez (29-3, 17 KO), both of which come from Las Vegas.
