Welcome to my live blog of "The Violation Confrontation"—a clash that pits two schools under heavy NCAA investigation, the University of Miami Hurricanes and THE No. 17 Ohio State Buckeyes, in a game that has lost some of its luster since everything hit the fan.
With both teams still undermanned, the two teams are going with who they have, and only one is going to come out victorious.
Players missing for the Hurricanes are as follows: S Ray-Ray Armstrong, TE Dyron Dye, WR Aldarius Johnson (suspended by Coach Golden) and DL Olivier Vernon.
Missing for the Buckeyes is as follows: RB Dan Herron, WR DeVier Posey, LT Mike Adams and DE Solomon Thomas.
It's not going to matter that only nine seasons ago, these two teams met in what some (myself included) still view as one of the most controversial national championship games in recent history. What matters. and what will be on people's minds, will be how much trouble these two schools are in.
