NFL Odds Week 2: 3 Sure-Fire Teams That Will Cover Spread

Week 1 is over and we have all had our chance to see every team in the NFL. That means that the odds will be harder to go against in most occasions. There are, however, three sure-fire selections that you should look into.

Minnesota Vikings +3 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Donovan McNabb will not put on another lousy performance like he did last week in San Diego. He understands that he can?t go 7-15 again, especially in front of the home folks.

All he has to do is be efficient throwing the football and hand it off to Adrian Peterson. The best running back in the game was unable to get over 100 yards in the loss to the Chargers.

Expect a heavy dose from Peterson, who only got 16 carries last week. He will rush for 120 yards on 23 carries with two touchdowns in a seven point Vikings victory.

Indianapolis Colts +1 vs. Cleveland Browns

Kerry Collins will prove that he is the best option at quarterback for Peyton Manning. He will have a bounce-back performance en route to 250 yards passing and two touchdowns.

If the offensive line can pass protect, the Colts should be able to defeat the Browns by more than one point.

Their defense against the rush will be important against Peyton Hillis. If they can slow down the rushing attack and force Colt McCoy to throw the ball, Indianapolis will find success come Sunday.

Denver Broncos +3 vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Kyle Orton will silence the ?Tebow lovers? in Week 2 after he throws for 300 yards and two touchdowns. The Bengals are coming off an opening week victory over the Cleveland Browns.

Playing on the road in Denver is tough. If their crowd is into the game, and into the quarterback, Denver may have one of the greatest home-field advantages in the entire NFL.

Expect the Bengals to come back to earth after the Broncos 27-17 victory.
