UFC 132 Fight Card: Predicting Fight, Submission and KO of the Night Winners

A long stretch of of weekly MMA events will come to a end after tonight's UFC 132. However, UFC 132 has the potential to be the most exciting event of all the recent cards held by the UFC, Strikeforce and Bellator.

For the first time, two bantamweights will headline a UFC event, as UFC Bantamweight Champion will defend his belt against Urijah Faber. Also, a surefire slugfest will take place, as MMA legend Wanderlei Silva goes toe to toe with Chris Leben.

With plenty of great fights on the card, there is sure to be a number of candidates for each fight bonus. Here are some predictions for Fight of the Night, Submission of the Night and Knockout of the Night.

Fight of the Night: Wanderlei Silva vs. Chris Leben

Anything less than a Fight of the Night performance will be considered a disappointment by these two fighters. Each fighter has earned Fight of the Night bonuses twice in their UFC career.

Expect Wanderlei Silva to earn the victory with a takedown and some ground-and-pound to steal each round, but not before both fighters swing wildly at each other for 80 percent of the fight.

There won't be a second of this fight that fans will consider boring.

Submission of the Night: George Sotiropoulos

Coming off of a disappointing loss to Dennis Siver, George Sotiropoulos will be looking to win in impressive fashion against Rafael dos Anjos at UFC 132.

An impressive win for Sotiropoulos usually includes turning his opponent's arm into a pretzel of sorts. The limbs of dos Anjos will likely suffer that same fate at UFC 132.

Urijah Faber, Carlos Condit and Brian Bowles are a few other fighters who could be competing with Sotiropoulos for Submission of the Night honors.

Knockout of the Night: Melvin Guillard

Some believed Melvin Guillard should be fighting a top contender after defeating Evan Dunham in his last fight, but he will have an opportunity to earn a bonus check against Shane Roller at UFC 132.

Roller poses problems for Guillard on the ground, but Guillard has the power and athleticism to keep this fight standing and finish it with a devastating knockout.

The only thing standing between Guillard and a Knockout of the Night performance is a knockout in the fight between Wanderlei Silva and Chris Leben.
