There is no doubt Juan Mata is a great prospect for Spain. With the transfer window coming to a close, the race is on to secure his signing.
Mata has headed Arsenal's transfer list since the loss of Cesc Fabregas, and a deal is looking more likely now that their former captain has left. With Nasri looking more and more likely to join the Fabregas exit, Arsene Wenger will most likely have a massive transfer budget to work with.
According to ESPN, Chelsea have also entered the fray for Mata. Sources claim that Chelesa have made a £27 million for the Valencia midfielder. With Torres struggling up front Mata may just provide the link to get the former Liverpool man up and running.
The video above was taken at a Spanish training session just prior to the World Cup. In a routine training drill, Mata cleverly played the ball between the legs of Raul Albiol. The Real Madrid defender was left a little red faced, but the video really took off on YouTube and Mata became well known around the online footballing community.
If Mata makes his move to the English Premier League, he would prove to be the second player from Valencia to make the move to England in two years. David Silva has really found his feet at Manchester City, especially this season, playing a starring role in City's opening campaign.
