Forget what you thought you knew about boxing. Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez will collide on Saturday in an event that will have you shaking your head in amazement. It's gonna be that good.
Fight aficionados have a decision to make on Saturday. They can watch a free UFC showdown in Cain Velasquez vs. Junior dos Santos, or they can drop some money on this bout. The UFC heavyweight title fight will no doubt be epic, but my first bold prediction is that the boxing match will trump it.
Now for the others.
Timothy Bradley Jr. vs. Joel Casamayor: 12 rounds (For Bradley's WBO junior welterweight title)
Here you go, Casamayor will lose. Wow, right? Well, I can't see anything else happening in this undercard fight.
Bradley is a better fighter and on a hotter streak. This wreaks of a slow first three rounds. Casamayor will be dancing around trying to find an opening. A little hint for you, he won't find one.
Mike Alvarado vs. Breidis Prescott: 10 rounds (junior welterweights)
I have Prescott upsetting the old man in this one. I like his form and still think he should have beaten Paul McCloskey.

Luis Cruz vs. Juan Carlos Burgos: 12 rounds (junior lightweights)
Here are two lightweights with some knockout power. If I had to pick a fighter, I am going with the battle-tested 26-year-old Cruz. This one ends in someone on the mat.
Manny Pacquiao vs. Juan Manuel Marquez: 12 rounds (for Pacquiao's WBO welterweight title)
Giggity.
We can't have Pacquiao vs. Mayweather. Well, this may be even better. Consider that we know exactly what we are going to get with these two boxers. Both engage one another and knockdowns are a given.
My bold prediction isn't really that bold when you consider the first two fight. Many have Marquez as an underdog, but I still have this as a pick 'em. Marquez is that acquainted with Pacquiao in the ring.
Marquez will again get wobbly in the knees but for once will not go down. His added size will help that effort. This will again go to the cards in a split decision for Pacquiao.
Marquez will again prove he is the only worth adversary to Manny Pacquiao. I can't wait.
