NFL Week 11 Picks: Games Sure to Light Up the Scoreboard

We're well into the month of November now. Actually, we're not that far from December. What that means is that the weather tends to get a little cooler. The fields get sloppier, the ball is harder to sling around, and point totals generally go down.

But here we are, in November, and there are still games on the schedule that look to be very high scoring. Granted, two of these three games are going to be played in domes.

Still, the one that's not is certainly in a cold weather town. But even if these games were all outdoors, we could still expect big point totals.

Carolina Panthers at Detroit Lions

Despite the lack of production the Panthers had last week against Tennessee, I still like this offense an awful lot. They score a lot of points and have the weapons to do that against just about anyone.

While I do like the Lions' front four an awful lot (who doesn't?), I expect a lot of points from this game.

The Lions offense is still quite explosive. Matthew Stafford is struggling more now than in the past weeks, but he still has Calvin Johnson and a strong group of weapons.

Prediction: Lions 34, Panthers 24

Oakland Raiders at Minnesota Vikings

I don't like the Raiders' run defense at all. I really don't like how well they match up to Adrian Peterson. But despite that, I see the Raiders winning this game.

To do that, they will have to score a lot of points. The Vikings will score in the low-mid 20s this week, and the Raiders will still win this game.

Carson Palmer has a deep group of receivers to throw the ball to and a strong back in Michael Bush.

Prediction: Raiders 30, Vikings 23

Kansas City Chiefs at New England Patriots

Unlike the previous two games, I see the overwhelming majority of the points in this game coming from one team.

That's not to say that the Chiefs won't do any good, but without Matt Cassel, I can't see them putting up anywhere near the amount of points that they will need to win this one.

Fortunately for you lovers of offense, the Patriots will pick up the slack. This is the time of the year when Tom Brady is at his absolute best.

Prediction: Patriots 38, Chiefs 17
