Today is Beckley Mason's first day at ESPN.com. You may know Beckley as the guy who founded HoopSpeak or HoopSpeak Live, has filled in here on TrueHoop, has hung with the king of summer hoops, or contributes regularly to 5-on-5 and TrueHoop TV. In pickup basketball he's a terror, 99 percent because of his phenomenal skill and power, and one percent because of his nightmarish metal-fanged knee brace. He's also known for "wafting around the room on his charisma jet pack.
