Well, we all saw this college football story coming last week, didn’t we? More consequence from the drug situation in Iowa City was reported minutes ago. Star tailback Adam Robinson was released from the team following his hometown arrest for possession of marijuana on the eve of the bowl game.
Iowa Football Coach Kirk Ferentz made the following statement minutes ago today?.
?Running Back Adam Robinson has been dismissed from The University of Iowa Football team,? said Ferentz.
Ferentz indicated he would have no further comment.
Robinson, a 5-9, 205-pound back from Des Moines, IA, led the team in rushing with 941 yards and 10 touchdowns on the ground.
