MMA: Former Strikeforce Champion Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal Blasts UFC's Jon Jones

Former Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Champion Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal is widely known as a man unafraid to speak his mind. A relative newcomer to the sport, Lawal began his career in 2008 by going 7-0 with three TKOs and two KO victories, capturing Strikeforce gold in the process.

“King Mo” has been out with a knee injury since August 2010 after losing his championship to Rafael Cavalcante via third-round TKO, and has kept busy while on the sidelines by sharing his controversial opinions on many different topics.

Recently, Lawal put another touchy topic square in his sights: the heated rivalry between former teammates Rashad Evans and Jon Jones. The situation between former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Evans and current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jones continues to be the subject of much debate.

Courtesy of MMA Mania, Lawal said the following in regards to the Jones/Evans situation:

"Personally, Jon Jones is the king of hoe moves. That's [expletive] your ex-girl, Superhead, or Kat Stacks would do. I wouldn't apologize for [expletive] and I don't think Rashad should either. Like I said before, that's some hoe [expletive]; petty in my eyes. So what? He called Jones a white boy? I've heard worse and y'all have too.”

Lawal is referencing an earlier story where a photo of Jon Jones’ cell phone was released to the public, showing a Twitter message from Evans to Jones where Evans called Jones a “fake a** white boy."
