LeGarrette Blount my not get the 2,000 yards that Kellen Winslow told Michael Fabiano he can rush for, but he might not have to to run away with the rushing title.
Last year, we all saw Arian Foster come out of nowhere to take the rushing title. Even though Foster wasn't as talented or established as Chris Johnson, Adrian Peterson and other perennial Pro Bowlers, but he was in a better situation and carrying the entire load.
With Cadillac Williams out of the mix, Blount is the feature back. The Buccaneers have a great young connection between Mike Williams and Josh Freeman that will stretch the field and Freeman's legs have to be accounted for on every play.
Peterson lost his left tackle, the Titans don't have anyone to take the heat off of Johnson and nobody is going to be taken by surprise by Foster this year.
Blount was able to rack up 1,007 yards in only 13 games last season. He's a huge back who has the body to take a beating and the running style to produce huge yardage.
Blount is grossly underrated from a fantasy standpoint. He's going to carry the load for Tampa Bay in such a manner that he could very well add 500-600 yards to his total from last year.
It wasn't until Week 7 last year that he was given more than 11 carries. It seems highly unlikely that the Bucs will give him any less than 15 in any given game next year.
If that holds true, the sky is the limit for Blount. If you see Blount floating around in the third round or later, pounce on him.
