Colts vs. Texans Video: Watch Dallas Clark Make a Ridiculous One-Handed Catch

I found another bright spot for the Colts! Tight end Dallas Clark shows he’s still one of the best, making a twisting, one-handed grab look easy. Sure, they came up short of getting a first down, but it’s still an amazing catch.

There are two explanations for what just happened: (1) Clark has a whole bucket load of Stick-Em on his gloves or (2) he’s still just a freak of nature. I’m going with the latter.

Unfortunately for Indianapolis, this is really the only thing they can be happy about right now. A top 10 play is not going to atone for the fact that they are down 34-0 to a division rival at the end of the first half. The offense has struggled mightily—and not just because Kerry Collins is at the helm.

The defense looks even worse. At this point, I’m not even sure if having Peyton Manning in the pocket would matter. The Texans are having their way on offense and I don’t know what kind of adjustments the Colts can make to counteract the thrashing they are getting.

Houston's defensive line is still just tearing things up. Of course, it would be a tighter game if the Colts’ star QB wasn’t injured, but I think they’d still be down.

The Colts haven’t been shut out in the first half since 2008 and they are very much in danger of breaking that streak right now.

Indy needs to figure out how to get Collins some time to throw if they want any chance of putting points up and making a comeback. Otherwise, they will fall to an early 0-1 and have fans praying for an early return from Manning.
