In our Week 10 NFL power rankings, these five teams are falling the most.
New England Patriots (Down five spots)
Despite losses to the Bills and Steelers, I have given the Patriots the benefit of the doubt in almost all of my power rankings in 2011. Not anymore.
At some point, there comes the realization that the defense simply doesn't have enough talent to compete for a Super Bowl. Unless something changes over the final eight games (and it could), I think we're at that point.
Buffalo Bills (Down six)
At 5-3, the Bills are still in good shape to compete for a playoff spot in the AFC. But it's hard to figure out this football team in 2011.
While they blazed out to a 3-0 start, the Bills have traded wins and losses over the past five weeks, and have now lost two of three.
Could this just be a team that overachieved to start the season? Are they talented enough to stay in the race?
San Diego Chargers (Down seven spots)
There's no shame in losing by seven to the reigning champions, but with just a 4-4 record, the Chargers needed to fall down my rankings.
While seven spots is quite the tumble, can you really argue that the Chargers are any better than the 15th-best team in the league?
Until this team gets healthy and Philip Rivers stops turning the ball over, San Diego will stay in the middle of the pack.

Washington Redskins (Down three spots)
I'd be shocked if the Redskins don't stay in the bottom third of the rankings for the rest of the season. But now that Washington has lost four straight, don't you think Redskins fans are a little jaded about their 3-1 start?
Those three wins will likely take the Redskins out of the hunt for Andrew Luck, who is desperately needed in the nation's capital. Mike Shanahan won't keep this job much longer without a better quarterback.
Philadelphia Eagles (Down five spots)
Like many, I had the Eagles make a big jump after winning two straight and getting to 3-4. That obviously might have been a little premature. The Eagles now have five losses, which puts them on the spot for the rest of the season to have a shot at the NFC playoffs.
I still think there is enough talent on the roster for this team could go 7-1 or 6-2 to finish 2011, but the Eagles had to drop again after losing their fifth game.
