Tomorrow, while most of us are at home with family, players on ten teams, including the Heat and Lakers, will be playing basketball on Christmas Day for the fans at home. While one or two may be enjoyable (after all, football has thanksgiving games and everyone's fine with that), but isn't five overdoing it?
The NBA knows what they're doing, as they pushed all five games to their own time slots over a 12-hour period. Revenue and TV ratings are one thing, but surely the players and coaches want to spend time at home? Already LeBron James and Phil Jackson have complained about it recently, and there's really no reason to have so many games on Christmas.
