NFL Playoff Scenario: The NFC is Far From Finalized

NFL Playoff Scenario: The NFC is the conference of wild situations and still burning scenarios. So far, we are a week out and there are only three teams that have clinched a spot. Here is what the conference looks like on Sunday Night.

Team Wins/Losses

CLINCHED

Atlanta 12-2

Chicago 11-4

Philadelphia 10-4

FEELING CONFIDENT

New Orleans 10-4

GUT CHECK TIME

NY Giants 9-6

Green Bay  9-6

Tampa Bay 9-6

St. Louis  7-8

Seattle 6-9

San Francisco 5-10

NAUGHTY LIST

Washington  6-9

Dallas 5-10

Minnesota 5-9

Detroit 5-10

Carolina  2-13

Arizona 5-10

So with just a week to go, the Saints are the only team to sit comfortably in the wild card spot. They have the luxury of knowing that fate is in their hands.

The NFC West just got a whole lot more interesting. The season comes down to a one game melee next Sunday. The winner gets the chance to lose in the first round in the playoffs.

There is also a down to the wire race between the Giants and Packers. The Packers romp of New York in Lambeau sets up a Sunday where both teams need to win.

This will be an interesting finish.
