2012 NFL Mock Draft: All 32 Picks, Keenan Robinson Goes No. 22

2012 NFL Mock Draft Sees LB Keenan Robinson Go to Chargers at No. 22

Texas linebacker Keenan Robinson is one of those players that has largely gone under the radar, which is hard to fathom.

The Longhorns had a disappointing 2010, but Robinson was one of their stars. He recorded 106 tackles on the year, with two sacks and two interceptions.

Against Oklahoma, Robinson had 19 tackles. Against Oklahoma State, he had 10 tackles. And against in-state rival Texas A&M, he had 13 tackles.

Robinson not only dominated in 2010, he played well in big games, and that's a sign of a player that could fare well at the next level.

Why Chargers Need Robinson

The Chargers did grab a linebacker in this year's draft to fill a need, but they drafted Jonas Mouton in the second round, and it's hard to see him being an impact player right away. They would do well to draft Robinson, who could become a starter in the NFL and actually be more NFL-ready than Mouton in 2012. They need a real impact there.

Pro Bowl Potential

Low: I don't know if Robinson will be a Pro Bowler, but he sure could become a good player in the NFL. He's not an elite prospect, but he has a lot of upside, and his performance in 2010 was largely overlooked for how compelling it was.
