UFC 129 Results: What's Next for Jose Aldo Now That He Beat Mark Hominick?

Bleacher Report's Sal DeRose:

UFC 129 is in the books and some of the top pound-for-pound fighters have been proven human.

Jose Aldo defeated Mark Hominick by unanimous decision and now will be looking for the next challenger to his belt.

Hominick proved Aldo has a weakness and can be given a tough time in any fight. Just need the perfect breed of fighter.

At the UFC 129 post-fight press conference, UFC president, Dana White, was asked if Chad Mendes would be next in line to challenge Aldo for his belt. White agreed that yeah, probably Mendes is the next opponent for Aldo.

Mendes is a former All-American wrestler and Pac-10 "Wrestler of the Year". Mendes is also currently the number three ranked featherweight according to Sherdog with a career record of a perfect 10-0. Mendes recently beat Michihiro Omigawa at UFC 126 by unanimous decision.
