Franklin High School (NC) running back Parrish Young went into Marshawn Lynch beast mode from last year's NFL playoffs in a Section 3A state playoff game.
Young took the handoff from his quarterback then went down the right side and jumped over a defender like he was trying out for the mens' Olympic hurdling team, then proceeded to go toward the sideline where he sidestepped a weak-tackling linebacker, then continued on and barreled over a guy like Jerome Bettis did when he was the "Bus."
Not only does Young barrel over one poor tackler toward the end, he gets past a second, showing some unbelievable strength and determination.
If that's not one of the best runs you have ever seen regardless if it is high school or the NFL, then I don't know what is.
Young and the rest of his offense combined for 43 rush attempts for an impressive 477 yards rushing as a team in the Franklin's 56-28 victory over East Henderson High.
I think it is safe to say that Parrish Young put the team on his back that night, in an amazing display of determination and power.
I feel bad for the next team that has to face the Panthers' talented rushing attack.
