NBA Trade Rumors Say Minnesota Timberwolves Looking To Trade Both 1st Round Picks
In the NBA in recent years, we have seen the "rebuilding" Oklahoma City Thunder, Memphis Grizzlies, and Chicago Bulls contend for an NBA Championship before anyone expected them to. One minute, they were in the lottery. The next, a top contender.
The Minnesota Timberwolves have some players with tremendous talent.
Kevin Love is the best rebounder in the league. The team is very high on Wesley Johnson after his first season. Ricky Rubio just agreed to join with them and they have the developing Anthony Randolph.
The T-Wolves can be that next team to go from bottom feeder to the playoffs in just one year. They have two first round picks this season they are looking to trade. David Kahn has to make the right moves.

How much can Minnesota get from their two first round picks? Plenty.
The Lakers have been one of the teams linked to the Timberwolves and their second round pick. The player they would include in a deal: Pau Gasol. I'm not saying that Minnesota is going to get Gasol, but that's the level of talent they could possibly get.
They have so many options: trade the No. 2 or keep the No. 2, select Derrick Williams, and trade Michael Beasley. Minnesota could even trade the number two and Beasley, pick up a starting shooting guard, and move Wesley Johnson over to small forward.
David Kahn is in position to take Minnesota to another level. If he fails, it will set the team's progression back, and he'll be on his way out of town.
