Magic CEO Vander Weide stepping down (AP)

A person familiar with the decision says Bob Vander Weide is retiring as Orlando Magic chief executive officer and team president Alex Martins is being promoted to his position. The person spoke to The Associated Press Tuesday on condition of anonymity because the Magic have not announced the moves. The team has scheduled a Wednesday press conference.
