Week 13 Fantasy Rankings: Frank Gore and RBs Who Will Go off This Week

Heading into the final week of the NFL fantasy football season, teams have to find a way to win. The running back is one of the most important positions on your roster. You cannot miss on selecting the right one. It’s why starting someone like San Francisco 49ers’ Frank Gore will guarantee you a victory this week.

Gore has been disappointing over his last few games. In his last four, Gore has not scored a touchdown, has only rushed for 234 yards and has only caught four passes.

Pretty much, Gore has completely fallen off the fantasy football radar over the last month.

This week Gore will revert back into his 120-rushing-yard, two-touchdown form that his fantasy owners were used to earlier this year. He faces the St. Louis Rams, who own the worst rushing defense in the NFL. They have given up two games where they allowed a running back to run for more than 200 yards.

Gore will come back this week to his elite level form.

New England Patriots, BenJarvus Green-Ellis

The man they call “The Law Firm” has been awful this year as a fantasy running back. However, last week against a bad Philadelphia Eagles rushing defense he went off for two touchdowns.

This week, Green-Ellis has an even better matchup against an even worse rushing defense in the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts gave up two rushing touchdowns to Carolina Panthers running back DeAngelo Williams last week. Before that game, Williams came in scoring only one touchdown on the year.

This week, The Law Firm will get the start against this awful Colts defense. He will carry the ball somewhere between 15 to 20 times, while rushing for 80 to 100 yards. Where he will shine and score you the majority of your points will be by scoring three touchdowns.

Dallas Cowboys, DeMarco Murray

Murray has been the best player on this Cowboys team since he took over as the starting running back for Felix Jones. Over those six games since becoming the starter, he has 761 rushing yards on 122 carries for a stunning average of 6.2 yards per carry.

However, where Murray has given his fantasy owners headaches is his lack of scoring.

While Murray is tearing it up with his yards, those two touchdowns has held him back from becoming an elite player.

This week against the Arizona Cardinals he will get into the end zone. This year, the Cardinals are near the bottom of the NFL in allowed rushing touchdowns with 12. If Murray can rip off three or four scores, it will send Arizona to the bottom of the NFL in touchdowns allowed.

Murray will see his normal 25 attempts in this game and will get his 100-plus yards. This game will see him find the end zone.

These three running backs are the top of their class this week. If you have anyone of these players, you have to start them with extreme confidence this week.
