Yes, the Knicks are 15-9. But they haven't beat any great caliber team besides Bulls and Hornets, They did pull the Celtics, Nuggets and Trail Blazers within the last two minutes, but couldn't finish it off. Amare Stoudemire is playing like a MVP, and Raymond Felton is playing like an All-Star Point Guard (think Paul, Williams, Nash).
But the teams they have beaten are all under .500. (Toronto 3x, Wizards 2x, Kings, Warriors, Clippers, Bobcats 2x, Pistons, Nets, and Timberwolves).
So as the Knicks nightmare part of the whole schedule starts against the Nuggets, I predict every game for the rest of December.
December 12 vs. Nuggets
Good thing for the Knicks that Carmelo is most likely not gonna play. Because if he was, and at MSG, possibly his future home, he would score at least 50. But the Knicks offense has been incredible, big part to Felton and Stoudemire. The Knicks have seven straight, and we can make eight.
Prediction: Knicks win by at least 10.
December 15 vs. Celtics (ESPN)
The two hottest teams in the East square off. The Knicks lost by four to the Celtics in Boston in the second game of the year. This should be a fantastic battle, but the Knicks will pull it off and win nine straight.
Prediction: Knicks win in final seconds
December 17 vs. Heat (ESPN)
Lebron James and the Heat bring their talents (even though they have three talents) to the Garden for the first time together this season. And both teams have been fantastic over the past three weeks. The Knicks will have a hard time defending Wade and James, and Bosh will have a hard time defending Stat. This should be another fantastic game, but the Heat stay hot.
Prediction: Heat win in final minute.
