Derrick Rose: How Will Ankle Sprain Affect Chicago Bulls Star for Game 4?

Derrick Rose suffers ankle sprain but will return

The entire city of Chicago gasped as Derrick Rose hobbled up court after spraining his ankle on a draft late in the first quarter.

It?s not overstating things to say that the Bulls cannot survive with an injury to Rose.

The ironic thing about the injury was that in a series that has been filled with cheap shots and hard fouls, Rose tweaks his ankle on a shot where he was barely touched.

Rose checked back in early in the second quarter and showed no signs of being hampered by the injury.

And the Bulls need him. Early in the game the Pacers have been bringing it to Chicago. They have been very active on the court creating uncharacteristically bad turnovers and allowing the Pacers to get easy buckets off of good ball movement.

The Pacers athletic and youthful collection of players have not only bothered the Bulls but may have set a good blueprint to stopping Chicago. This includes double teaming Rose.

However, just having Rose return has been a big boost for Chicago, as the one thing that has saved Chicago and hurt the Pacers is the Bulls and Rose?s ability to close in the fourth quarter.

The Bulls just need to weather the storm and hang close.

In the fourth quarter, with D-Rose, anything is possible.
