2011 NFL Mock Draft: Does Cincinnati Shake Things Up with the Fourth Pick?

Cincinnati Shakes Things Up With Quarterback in 2011 NFL Mock Draft

Carson Palmer says that he will retire if the Bengals do not trade him before the 2011 season begins. Owner Mike Brown says there is no way the team will trade Palmer.

I believe them both.

So, the Bengals will need to move on in a different direction. If they are not comfortable with Jesse Palmer or Dan LeFevour, they need to look at quarterback in draft.

If Blaine Gabbert is still available at fourth overall, they need to take him.

In this mock draft Gabbert is available, so we have the Bengals selecting him with the fourth overall pick.

There is still great debate over who the top quarterback in this class is. Some experts believe it is Cam Newton, while others think Gabbert will have the better pro career.

Only time will tell, but we have Gabbert starting his career with the Bengals.
